HEALTHCARE RESEARCH AND ORGANIZATIONAL ANALYST

Join our growing team at HARTZ Search: As Healthcare Research & Organizational Analyst, you will have the chance to collaborate with the firm’s senior leadership and recruiters on highly impactful projects and interact with leaders of some of the region’s most well-known organizations. As a new role to an expanding team, there is opportunity to grow our research capability. As a Research Associate, you will conduct company and executive research. You will identify prospective candidates, build out profiles in our database, develop phone and email details, and verify that information. In doing so, you will analyze the data for competitive insights and business intelligence.

Our H.R & O Analyst helps us to piece together the structure of an organization to better identify target candidates. Building out org charts is a little like piecing together a giant jigsaw puzzle - figure out how companies are structured, what people are working in what teams, and how best to reach out to members of those teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Use of various search engines, particularly LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms, to gather information that will be used to grow and deliver executive recruitment candidates.
  • Using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter to create market maps to ensure we have a comprehensive knowledge of candidate pools.
  • Taking a proactive approach to identifying potential candidates based on job requirements, titles, and structure info.
  • Research - Support the search team, always keeping Recruiters or Partners up to date. You will be using internal and external sources of information, conducting internet and phone research of candidates and companies, verifying the information, approaching candidates, and understanding their needs, and many more!
  • Conducting research, competitive intelligence on companies, health systems and health care disrupters as well as candidate research.
  • Analyzing information to develop insights and business intelligence.
  • Alerting us immediately of any issue or problem with recommended solutions.
  • Checking research to ensure it is error-free and ready for reporting out to our team and importing to build out our database.
  • Running reports for weekly meetings and other reports to share information within the team.
  • Managing research projects to ensure research is delivered on-time.
  • Cultivating candidate and industry-expert relationships to grow our firm.
  • Write, review, and edit selected client deliverables such as position specifications, candidate reports, and status reports.
  • Provide business development support to senior management by performing market research and analysis prior to client meetings.
  • Serve as an expert in the research process including knowledge of research sources, industries and markets, organizational structures, and companies. Utilize publicly available, subscription-based, and proprietary database resources, social media, and other channels.
  • Discover innovative ways to identify high potential talent within a given market in addition to staying abreast of market trends, business intelligence, and competitive information.
  • Formulate and implement the search research strategy and plan in coordination with the recruitment team.
  • Identify and implement innovative approaches and best practices across the organization. Help maintain consistency regarding process and quality.

 

Research/Sourcing Functions:

As requested - perform research and sourcing duties as it pertains to assigned searches and/or new business development, this may include but is not limited to:

  • Network Sourcing – prepare and distribute advertising through networking sources, such as Wiederhold and Associates, and internal database sourcing.
  • Definitive Healthcare / ZoomInfo / LinkedIn / American Hospital Directory – compile sourcing lists of potential candidate & hospital targets based on established search criteria and based on regional, or facility data compiled.
  • Any candidates identified through sourcing will be handled as well by HARTZ SEARCH standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as an expert in the research process, including knowledge of research sources, industries and markets, organizational structures, and companies. Utilize publicly available, subscription-based, and proprietary database resources, social media, and other channels.

 

Team Collaboration and Communication:

  • Demonstrate professional communication skills verbally (in person and phone) and written (correspondence, report writing, proofreading, email, proposals, etc.) with clients and candidates.
  • Successfully collaborate across full recruitment team to ensure quality and timing of search project deliverables.
  • Provide a high level of confidentiality and communication with candidates throughout the search process.
  • Provide back-up assistance and support for Executive Search Coordinators when necessary.
  • Write, review, and edit selected client deliverables such as position specifications, candidate reports, and status reports. Provide business development support to senior management by performing market research and analysis before client meetings.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to articulate ideas and work with others.
  • Analytical mindset and independent thinker.
  • Ideally, 1 to 2 years of experience in a recruitment / talent acquisition setting: researcher, sourcing, and/or staffing.
  • Ability to leverage software to develop and execute winning strategies.
  • And/or experience in the healthcare industry to understand terms and roles in the executive setting.
  • Smart, energetic, transparent, and communicative.
