Hartz Search is excited to announce the placement of Dawn Mickan as the Senior Director of Patient Access at the Cancer Center of South Florida!

After a nationwide search, the Cancer Center of South Florida has chosen Ms. Dawn Mickan as the Senior Director of Patient Access. She will oversee the contact center-based activities within the cancer service line and facilitate the development of new programs that coordinate access and throughput across all departments and services.

Dawn Mickan will report directly to Michael Silver, the Cancer Center of South Florida’s Vice President of Oncology Operations.

Prior to joining CCSF, Dawn Mickan was the Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle for Altera Digital Health, where she was responsible for creating and overseeing revenue cycle specialists to assist and guide healthcare organizations in maximizing their financial results through data analysis, operational efficiency, and teamwork.

Dawn earned her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. She is also certified as a Health Access Manager.
