HARTZ Search is excited to announce the placement of Joseph DeLeon as the new CEO of Roper St. Francis Healthcare!
After an extensive nationwide search, Roper St. Francis Healthcare has chosen Joseph DeLeon as the Chief Executive Officer. Joseph holds responsibility for all aspects of strategic, operational and financial performance of the system, including the innovation of practices; safety, quality and compliance of patient care; community outreach and population health; financial accountability; medical staff relations; leading and developing high functioning teams; and achieving mission and performance standards. Joseph will be responsible for optimizing the operating model by integrating influential leadership and physician alignment through a dyad reporting structure.
Joseph DeLeon will report to the Roper St. Francis Healthcare Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Roper St. Francis Health, Joseph spent the last 19 years rising through leadership positions within Texas Health Resources. Most recently, Joseph was the President of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth & Texas Health Specialty Hospital.
Joseph earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s degree in Public Administration and health Services from Texas A&M University. He is also a US Air Force veteran.
