HARTZ Search is excited to announce the placement of Rebecca ‘Becky’ Tucker as the new CFO of Roper St. Francis Healthcare!

After an extensive nationwide search, Roper St. Francis Healthcare has chosen Becky Tucker as the Chief Financial Officer.

Becky is an innovative, strategic, and collaborative leader who will ensure RSFH maintains a strong balance sheet, financial performance, and internal controls to enable the system to be the Charleston area leader in providing high-quality care for the people of Charleston and surrounding areas. Becky’s responsibilities include developing and executing financial strategies, initiatives, systems, and processes that optimize current and future performance.

This position also provides leadership, guidance, and direction to capital planning, financial planning, financial reporting, revenue cycle, accounting, reimbursement, and operating entity support functions through well-aligned coordination with the respective Bon Secours Mercy Health shared service leaders.

Becky Tucker will report to the Chief Financial Officer, Ambulatory at Bon Secours
Mercy Health, Eric Smith with a strong dotted line to the RSFH CEO, Joseph DeLeon.

Becky is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer.  Most recently Becky was the Market Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Ascension Health in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With Ascension she held operational and financial oversight of day-to-day multiple-site operations for seven campuses across northeast Oklahoma with a total of 762 beds.  Prior to joining Ascension Health, Becky was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance for Memorial Herman Northeast in Houston, TX.

Becky earned her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University and her MBA from Oklahoma Christian University; she also holds a CPA.
