After an extensive national search, Southeast Georgia Health System selected Lauren Talley as the Director of Revenue Cycle: Front-End Operations (Pre-Services and Patient Access), reporting directly to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle.
The Director of Revenue Cycle: Front-End Operations (Pre-Services and Patient Access) will administer, plan, direct, and coordinate all front-end revenue cycle operations for Southeast Georgia Health System. Lauren will oversee the day-to-day operations of patient registration, ensuring efficient and effective processing of patient information and admission. Lauren will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures that promote patient satisfaction, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations. She will also develop and execute projects that are necessary to support and/or improve patient access into the health system and reimbursement.

Lauren joins Southeast Georgia Health System from Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL where she held the role of System Director of Patient Access. She led a team across cross-functional departments (patient access, billing, collections), ensuring seamless integration of services to optimize patient flow/revenue cycle operations. Lauren brings over 15 years in revenue cycle and is a dynamic and results-driven Patient Access Director with extensive experience in optimizing healthcare operations to enhance patient experience and maximize revenue. She has a proven track record in leading teams through the implementation of best practices in patient access, billing, collections, and insurance verification processes.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Troy University and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix. She is a Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM).
