Congratulations to Carl Pate and Capital Digestive Care!

After an extensive national search, Capital Digestive Care has selected Carl Pate, Jr. JD, CHC, AIP-HC as its Corporate Compliance Officer.

Carl will report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Tim Short, and will serve as the head of compliance, privacy, quality, and risk.  His responsibilities include developing, implementing, managing, and directing the company’s compliance program.

Carl joins Capital Digestive Care after serving as the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Physician Partners of America. He has previously held leadership roles at Corwell (formerly Beaumont) Health and BCBS of Michigan. Carl is known for developing and improving compliance programs while managing multi-million-dollar departmental budgets and diverse professional compliance and auditing teams.

Carl earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wayne State University, his Master of Science in Corporate Finance from Walsh College, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
