Congratulations Moyya Kemp & Essentia Health!

HARTZ Search is excited to announce the placement of Moyya Kemp as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner – East Division at Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota. Mrs. Kemp will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. In addition, she will own programs that run across the broader HR team and help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

Moyya Kemp brings her talent and experience to Essentia Health from the University of Minnesota. Over her 8 years with the University of Minnesota, she oversaw HR functions through all different departments of the University, including the physician’s department. Moyya provided strategic HR support to the Surgical, Medical, Woman’s, and Pediatric specialty groups and consulted with clinic leadership and supervisors on employee relations including the management of employee performance, disciplinary action, and investigations. She also partnered with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and improve retention. Moyya received her Bachelor’s from Minnesota State University and also completed the University of Minnesota’s Strategic Human Resources Leadership program. She was recently nominated and selected for the University of Minnesota’s Senate.
