Hartz Search is excited to announce the placement of Lara Scrimenti as the new Vice President of Clinical Operations & Quality at the Cancer Center of South Florida.
Lara will oversee clinical operations, develop procedures that guide and support the provision of services and drive performance in quality metrics, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives.
Lara Scrimenti will report directly to the SVP Network Development & Chief of Oncology at Tampa General Hospital – Dr. Abraham Schwarzberg.

Prior to joining CCSF, Lara spent the last 7 years of her career with NewYork-Presbyterian rising through leadership roles such as Patient Care Director, Cancer Center Director, and Director of Outpatient Oncology. Before NewYork-Presbyterian, Lara was with the Carolinas HealthCare System – Atrium Health.
Lara is a certified Nurse Executive. She received her BSN from the State University of New York, Binghamton, and her MS, Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University.
Tampa General Hospital and Cancer Center of South Florida are working together to provide personalized patient care with state-of-the-art medical treatments. In the newly formed Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute, their devoted team of former Harvard Medical School faculty work with a team of surgical oncologists and specialists to provide South Florida patients access to cutting-edge clinical trials and therapies.
