Congratulations to Mr. Khari Reed and HonorHealth! 

After an extensive national search, HonorHealth selected Khari Reed as the Vice President of Cancer Care to lead the oncology service line! Khari will provide clinical and administrative leadership and direction for Cancer Care services across the network. Khari will work collaboratively with operational executives in the acute environment to support and execute strategic programs and services within the service line. The responsibilities will include developing and implementing service line strategic plans, program development, contract negotiations, and ensuring the overall system-wide success of the oncology service line. 

Khari will report directly to David Price, the SVP, Chief Growth Officer of HonorHealth.

Khari is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of oncology. He joins HonorHealth from UCHealth in Denver, CO. He held the role of Senior Director of Oncology Services where he was responsible for the Metro Denver Region, which consists of the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) and three community hospitals as well as multiple outpatient clinics and surgical centers across the region. 

Khari received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. He is also a Fellow, Certified Healthcare Executive – American College of Health Care Executives.  

HonorHealth consists of six hospitals in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. Five of those hospitals have achieved Magnet status, the gold standard for nursing care, an honor earned by only 6% of the nation’s hospitals. HonorHealth has a large medical group with more than 70 primary, specialty, and urgent care locations, as well as participating in a Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO through Innovation Care Partners, a physician-led, clinically integrated network wholly owned by HonorHealth.  HonorHealth is home to 13K team members, 400 employed physicians and providers, and nearly $2B in net revenue.  HonorHealth is proud to be on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers by State from 2017 to 2021. 

HonorHealth owns and operates 13 cancer centers, along with 4 satellite clinics. The system also includes 8 breast surgery clinics that are part of a PSA with the Arizona Center for Cancer Care.
