After an extensive national search, SE Georgia Health has selected Mrs. Krista Penn to join their team! Krista will be their new Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services and will work collaboratively with the service line medical director and key stakeholders across Southeast Georgia Health System to advance the growth of the cardiovascular service line. Krista Penn will advance an enterprise-wide approach to service line development thru the design and implementation of a strategic plan consistent with the Health System’s objectives, achieving measurable benefits to the organization thru the growth of the service line, enabling Southeast Georgia Health System to better serve and attract more members of our community and the greater region, and differentiate our services by driving quality which leads to excellent clinical outcomes.
Krista Penn will report directly to Christopher Locke, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer.

Krista joins Southeast Georgia Health from HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center where she was the Director of Cardiovascular Services. Krista has a strong knowledge base in service line development, change management, policy writing, regulatory standards, service excellence, quality outcomes, and data analysis.
Southeast Georgia Health System consists of 3 acute care hospitals, including a children’s hospital, 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities, a 200-member employed provider group, and a 70,000-member health plan serving a 6-county region in southeast Georgia. SGHS is also a GME teaching facility with 36 residents (internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology).
