PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS:
- Worked closely with providers contracted for the emergency department on best practices for patient throughput to decrease our LWBS from 14.0% to 4.2%.
- Worked closely with Registration to decrease current practice of not registering 14% of our patient volume which resulted in a loss of $464,449 monthly.
- Implementation of Vertical Triage Process creating a Rapid Treatment Area with the continued surge of ED patients resulting from in-patient holds.
- Decreased the LWBS from average of 13.64% to 1.3% which monetizes to a revenue increase of $263,865 per month.
- Managed AirCare helicopter critical care transport, emergency medical services for 911 and transports, and communications center for dispatching and incoming referrals.
