After an extensive national search, JPS Health Network selected Carla Kuaiwa as the Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the Human Resources for the growing and award-winning Network. Carla will drive the People Pillar of the JPS Strategic goals with the foundation of attracting, retaining and developing the workforce to drive quality patient care and being identified as an Employer of Choice.

Ms. Kuaiwa will report directly to Dr. Karen Duncan, Chief Executive Officer of JPS Health Network.

Ms. Carla Kuaiwa has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources. Carla has experience in Healthcare, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Retail & Fashion, Real Estate, and Non-Profits services and consulting. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Psychology from Park University. She earned her Master’s in Human Resources Administration and Management from Webster University and an MBA from Ashford University.
