Congratulations to Ms. Cheryl Sutterfield-Jones and JPS Health Network!

After an extensive national search, JPS Health Network selected Cheryl Sutterfield-Jones as the JPS Foundation President. Cheryl directly works with the President and CEO to develop key relationships both locally and nationally to assist in the core mission of the health network. Cheryl is responsible to create new opportunities for JPS funding support that have either not been attempted or have not been previously available.

Ms. Sutterfield-Jones will report directly to Dr. Karen Duncan, Chief Executive Officer of JPS Health Network.

Ms. Cheryl Sutterfield-Jones joins JPS with over 30 years of leadership experience, including leading the American Red Cross for ten years achieving a $20 million annual fundraising goal. Cheryl has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Howard Payne University, and earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University.

JPS Health Network is a $1 Billion, tax-supported health care system for Tarrant County in North Texas. This award-winning network is anchored by John Peter Smith Hospital, a 573-bed acute care facility in Fort Worth, Texas. JPS has the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Tarrant County and the county’s only psychiatric emergency services site. JPS is also a certified Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center and an Accredited American College of Surgery Cancer Center. JPS has a Level lll Neonatal Intensive Care Center (NICU).
