HARTZ Search is excited to announce the hiring of our newest Executive to the leadership team of our growing firm.  Please join us in welcoming Chris Miles, our first Chief Operating Officer.  Chris brings over 25 years of healthcare experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and spirit to our team.  As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Chris will be responsible for day-to-day operations of all business activities, finance, vendor relations, and process improvement and will also lead our growing Interim Leadership division. 

Chris will be highly focused on streamlining our innovative, evidence-based process to continue to support our industry-leading customer service and the growth of the firm.  Chris Miles joins HARTZ Search from Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH; where he was the Senior Director of Finance for the systems large medical group of 650 providers and oversight of a $110M net revenue for the past five years.  In his role at Mount Carmel Health System, Chris was the Finance leader for the Medical Group – leading with a “business owner” mindset, developing big data analytics strategy and tools to provide key stakeholders and physician partners with information to make informed business choices while leveraging technology.  Chris has significant experience in strategic planning, medical group operations, financial forecasting, M&A,  and capital investment planning.  Chris successfully led the organization financially through the COVID-19 pandemic, producing a 10% year-on-year bottom line improvement and a fiscal year 2023 improvement of 20%.  Chris has outstanding experience leading an International consulting firm and growing a nationally known healthcare system credit rating business.

 

 

Chris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a CPA in Pennsylvania.  Chris Miles is a member of AICPA-CIMA, CGMA, PICPA.
