Congratulations - Mark Wernicke & ThedaCare!

HARTZ Search would like to congratulate and announce the successful hiring of Mark Wernicke as the Vice President, Managed Care Services for ThedaCare in Appleton, Wisconsin. 

Mark will be responsible for promoting, supporting, and leading payer contracts across all ThedaCare service lines, advancing enterprise initiatives and integration, managing payer relationships pertaining to payer contracts, and providing leadership to department staff providing contract support and the development of an enterprise-wide analytics division.

Mark Wernicke was recently the Senior Vice President, Managed Care & Population Health for Aspirus Health in Wausau, Wisconsin - responsible for managing the health plan and advancement of population health strategies across the system.  Mark was previously with Humana in multiple Vice President and Senior Leadership roles with Humana in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for more than 25 years.  Mark has a Bachelors's in Business Administration and a Masters, Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.

Mark Wernicke will report to Chief Strategy Officer - Thomas Arquilla and will start at ThedaCare on July 31st.

Congratulations to Adam Lane and JPS Health Network!

HARTZ Search is excited to announce the placement of Adam Lane as the Vice President & Chief Facilities Management Officer for JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas. It will be reporting directly to the Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer – Dr. Karen Duncan.  Adam will be responsible for Facilities Management, Construction, Environmental Services, Food & Nutrition, Security and Engineering for the 580-bed, award-winning health network.

Mr. Lane was selected from a competitive candidate pool after conducting a national search that was completed in 120 days.

Adam Lane is an accomplished senior-level executive with a 25-year track record of successful strategic and tactical leadership within the healthcare, finance, and real estate industry. He is visionary and creative with a positive attitude and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Adam is highly effective planning, organizational, and communication skills with an expertise in managing organizational change to achieve maximum results with an entrepreneurial leadership style. Adam has a demonstrated ability to instill a common vision and develop a dynamic team based on trust and mutual respect.

Adam Lane has a BS, Architecture from the University of Texas – Arlington, a Master’s of Architecture from Syracuse University, and an Executive MBA from the University of Houston.  Adam’s previous leadership roles include leading a nationally known consulting firm for Facilities, Construction, and Life Safety -  Aurora Advisory Services, Vice President - Real Estate and Facility Support Services for Renown Health in Reno, NV and System Executive Vice President – Capital Planning and Operations, System Facility Services for Memorial Hermann Health System.
