After an extensive national search, Roper St. Francis selected Wendy Albertson as the Director of Care Coordination. Wendy will be responsible for the systems and staff that support patient transitions of care to ensure safe discharge, post-acute care placement, and continuity with respect to handovers to the ambulatory care setting.
Ms. Albertson will report directly to Dr. Mitch Siegan, Vice President & Chief Medical Officer of Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

Ms. Wendy Albertson joins RSFH with over 15 years of experience directing strategic planning, care coordination, budget management and staff oversight, along with utilization review and denials management. Wendy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Ohio University and earned her BA in Business & Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Malone University.

After an extensive national search, Patrice Villemure was named as the new Vice President of Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI)! In partnership with the Physician Executive Chair of HVI, Patrice is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic initiatives, operations, and management of Centra HVI and reports to the SVP Chief Physician Executive. In partnership with the Executive Chair of HVI, she will develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with Centra for HVI outpatient services (Lynchburg, Farmville, Bedford, Moneta, Gretna, Danville) and will work closely with executive and physician leaders on strategy for cardiovascular services at Lynchburg General Hospital, Southside Community Hospital, and Bedford Memorial Hospital. She is also responsible for a high level of quality and safety for all outpatient HVI sites and will partner with hospital leaders to provide the same level of quality and safety for inpatient cardiovascular services. Centra Health’s Heart & Vascular Institute has been a highly respected leader in cardiovascular services, and Patrice will work with all HVI and Centra leaders to maintain their reputation as one of the premier programs in Virginia and the country.

Ms. Patrice Villemure joins Centra Health from Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Health, in Omaha, NE, where she was the Market Vice President of Cardiovascular Services. In that role, she was responsible for all heart and vascular care across 4 markets and 15 acute care hospitals, including the strategic and operational oversight of all cardiovascular services. Patrice has extensive healthcare executive experience in large, not-for-profit health systems, and brings over 30 years of heart and vascular experience to Centra Health.
Patrice earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Administration from Mercer University. She is Bronze certified in lean management and is known as an executive who has embraced lean management and drives better results through it.
Centra Health is a regional, independent nonprofit healthcare system based in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was created in 1987 through the merger of the Lynchburg General (LGH) and Virginia Baptist (VBH) hospitals. In 2006, Southside Community Hospital in Farmville joined Centra as an affiliate. In 2014, Bedford Memorial Hospital, joined Centra’s network and became the 4th hospital in the system. She will manage conceptual design staff to ensure designs are consistent with client expectations and serve as a champion for the Project Designer and their vision for the client’s outdoor living project.

Ms. Connolly earned his Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
