Ms. Lemoine will report directly to Greg Nielsen, CEO of East Jefferson General Hospital. EJGH is a 420-bed acute care facility located in Jefferson Parrish with 3,000 FTEs and 650 physicians on staff. Ms. Lemoine is a driven and successful strategic healthcare leader with 20 years’ experience in complex healthcare systems and networks, all of which have been located in Louisiana. Joni joins EJGH from Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group in Baton Rouge, LA. There she held the title of Senior Director, Operations, where she was responsible for all adult specialty practices, including Critical Care, Surgical Hospitalist, Trauma Surgeons, General Surgeons, Subspecialized ENT Surgeons, Bariatric Surgeons and Obesity Medicine, Colorectal Surgeons, Thoracic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Medical Oncologist, Rheumatologist, Dermatologist, Sleep Medicine, Psychiatrist, Palliative Care, Rehab, & Sports Medicine.
She also held roles as Chief Nursing Officer at The Baton Rouge General and Director of Nursing at Baton Rouge General Medical Center from 2011 to 2019. Among her many accomplishments, she reconditioned and stood up The General in Mid-town Baton Rouge during COVID, converting from a Skilled Nursing Home (SNF) to a full acute hospital.
Ms. Lemoine earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Joni is Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certified, Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN), Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN), and member of American Association of Certified Nurses (AACN).

Krista joins Southeast Georgia Health from HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center where she was the Director of Cardiovascular Services. Krista has a strong knowledge base in service line development, change management, policy writing, regulatory standards, service excellence, quality outcomes, and data analysis.
Southeast Georgia Health System consists of 3 acute care hospitals, including a children’s hospital, 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities, a 200-member employed provider group, and a 70,000-member health plan serving a 6-county region in southeast Georgia. SGHS is also a GME teaching facility with 36 residents (internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology).

Lara is a certified Nurse Executive. She received her BSN from the State University of New York, Binghamton, and her MS, Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University.

Gina has significant experience and expertise in all aspects of trauma nursing, administration, and management, including but not limited to 15 years of clinical experience serving charge, triage, trauma bay, and educator/preceptor roles in an urban, high-volume, high-acuity trauma center as well every role within trauma program administration of a Level I ACS verified Trauma Program.

Dr. Jennifer Koestler joins GCSOM from New York Medical College where she has risen through various curriculum development leadership roles over the past 15 years. Most recently, Dr. Koestler held the title of Dean for Undergraduate Medical and Curricular Affairs of the School of Medicine. Prior to Dr. Koestler’s 2023 promotion, she held the title of Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at NYMC for 10 years.
New York Medical College is a Health Sciences Institution that includes a School of Medicine, a School of Health Sciences and Practice, and a School for Biomedical Sciences. In May 2011, New York Medical College joined the Touro University System, creating one of the United States’ largest biomedical higher education consortiums under one institutional banner. During Dr. Koestler’s time at NYMC she has been praised for her value add as an LCME site visitor and her success in securing clinical affiliates as well as leading successful matchdays. As Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education, Dr. Koestler lead and managed the offices of Medical Education, Data Analytics, Education Technology, and the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, served as Faculty Accreditation Lead for institutional accreditation, and oversaw and provided leadership to support all aspects of the MD Program including the curriculum, clinical skills training, medical student assessment, education. technology, budget, and MD Program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
Dr. Jennifer Koestler earned a combined B.S./M.D. at Union College, a Doctor of Medicine from The Albany Medical College, and completed her internship & residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Koestler has also participated in several post-graduate professional training courses at Harvard and AAMC.

Kristen will lead these efforts that foster a well-coordinated, enterprise-wide culture that supports and promotes wellness and professional fulfillment, develops and implements best practices, and identifies opportunities for contemporary approaches to analytics and change management.

Kristen Gradney joins LCMC Health from Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health, where she has held multiple roles since 2013. She most recently was the Senior Director of Operations responsible for the strategic planning, operations, and population health programming for regional children’s health, including general pediatrics and specialty practices, and health care operations for East Baton Rouge Parish school system and charter schools. Prior to that, she was the Operations Director II of the Physicians Group, where she had administrative and operational oversight of 12 physician practices and locations, including Primary Care Practice, Specialty Practice, Concierge Medicine, and Population Health initiatives.
Ms. Kristen Gradney received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Louisiana State University. She earned a Master of Health Administration from Our Lady of the Lake College. Kristen is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and began her career as a Diabetes Educator at Ochsner. She is also Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified.
